He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Cupps and Eloise Cupps (Braem); and his brothers, Donald Jr., Clarence and Gary.
He is survived by: his wife LaVonne Janeanne Cooke; his children, Leonard Jr. (Kelly), Raymond (Pam) of Murdock, Marcus (Ruth Ann) of Willmar, Matthew (Josie), Lucus of Willmar, Gregory (Stephanie) of Saint Cloud, Cheryl Page of Willmar and Macarria Cupps of Willmar; and his siblings, Josephine Briedenbach, Fran Nelson (Dennis), Eloise Davis (Charles), Mikki Qualheim (Bud), Richard Cupps and Patrick Cupps. He is also survived by nineteen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
