With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kermit Gimse of Willmar, Minnesota, who passed away on March 30, 2021 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Gimse and Violet Gimse (Myhre); his wife Gloria Mattson of St. Paul; his siblings, Harriet Ruis, LuAnn Holtz, Arlyn and Mark; and his son-in-law Bill Grant.
He is survived by: his daughter Debra; his brothers, Willmar Taxi, Willmar Bus, Peterson Bus and Prentice Gravel; his daughters, Kryss Grant of Willmar, Jeanne Jennum (Richard) of Anoka, Ann Furr (Jeremy) of Jeffersonton, VA and Deb Hoyt (Jeff) of Brooklyn Park; his grandchildren, Dustin LeTourneau (Amberlee), Sarah Twyman, Brandon Jennum (Trisha), Alisha LeTourneau, Adam Jennum, Brea Tallman (Michael), Thomas Hoyt (Jessica), Ellie Hoyt and Max Hoyt; and his brother-in-law Jerry Ruis. He is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren.
