With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kent Ames Boyd of Willmar, Minnesota, born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, who passed away on September 20, 2022 at the age of 65. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Boyd and Betty Boyd (Mattson); and his brother Paul. He is survived by: his wife Rev. Elaine Boyd; his sons, Zachary Boyd of Coon Rapids and Kyle Boyd (Audrey Gabe) of Austin, TX; his grandsons, Axel and Simon Boyd; and his siblings, Evan Boyd (Tina Frontera) of Minneapolis, Lynn Boyd (Julie) of Apple Valley and Mary Pearson (Greg) of Minnetonka. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces, relatives, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to honor Kent may be directed to Wycliffe Bible Translators or Presbyterian Disaster Assistance.
