She was loved and cherished by many people including: her father John; her husband William Maki; her daughters, Karen Hampton (Jeff) and Susan Gillies (Brian Hipp); her grandchildren, Quinn, Andrew Gillies and Karissa Hampton; and her significant other Jo Gallant.

Memorials may be made to Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana.
