He is survived by: his children, Jill McIntee (Pat) of Randolph, MN, Erin Stuefen of Northfield, MN, Tony Horning (Amy) of Chanhassen, MN, Lee Horning (Michelle) of Big Sky, MT, Hayley Shibley (Jeremy) of Burnsville, MN and Dena Horning of Willmar, MN; his daughter-in-law Cathy Bangen (Glenn) of Spicer, MN; his grandchildren, Zachary Horning (Amanda), Tyler Horning (Trisha), Matthew Horning (Savannah), Ryan Horning (Alexa), Heather Christopher (Cole), P. J. McIntee (Kelly), Nick McIntee (Sydney), Maggie Horning, Shae Horning, Ivy Hicks, Fiona Horning, Ella Horning, Trey Shibley, Peyton Shibley, Maddy Oehrlein and Sam Oehrlein; his great grandchildren, Hudson, Hadley Horning, Tate, Teague Horning, Axel Horning, Oaklee, Myla Horning, Everett, Lucy McIntee and Breklyn McIntee; his sisters, Mary Jean Turtle of Mankato, MN and Julie Horning (Jerry Richmond) of Bradenton, FL; and his sister-in-law Rita Horning of Coos Bay, OR. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
He volunteered with the Willmar Baseball Boosters, Willmar Community Foundation, and the Barn Theatre, where he shared his talents acting and playing the piano.
