He was predeceased by: his parents, Matthew Burns and Mary Burns (Linnihan). He is survived by: his siblings, Kevin Burns (Edna) of Waseca, Daniel Burns (Diane) of Faribault, Mary Strehlow (Phillip) of Waseca, Helen Burns of St. Louis Park, Robert Burns (Joan) of Janesville and Michael Burns of Janesville. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
