He is survived by: his wife Gloria Garcia; his children, Isabel Ruiz, Jesus Ruiz Jr., Juan Ivan Ruiz, Guadalupe Parras, Arturo Lee Ruiz and Justin Ruiz; and his sister Guadalupe San Juanita Ruiz. He is also survived by twenty-four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren.
