We bid farewell to Jean Marlene Pomranke of Willmar, Minnesota, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 3, 2025 at the age of 92. Jean touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Janshen and Henrietta Janshen (Groenwold); her husband Leo Pomranke; her daughter Linda Pagenkopf; and her siblings, Les Janshen (Ruby) and Helen Heidebrink (Harm).
She is survived by: her sons, Billy Pomranke (Peggy), Danny Pomranke (Marlys) and Daryle Pomranke; her son-in-law Guy Pagenkopf; her close friend Connie Pomranke; her grandchildren, Serena Shultz (Nicholas), Cassie Naset (Kevin), Travis Pomranke (Kinzie), Karen Postma (Dave), Amy Ripperger (Jarad), Angela Koosman (Chad), Matthew Pomranke (Alicia) and Corey Pomranke (Natalie); and her great grandchildren, Max, Juniper, Avery, Olive, Evelyn, Wren, Rhett, Maddie, Alivia, Daxton, Isley, Marlee, Mack, Sophia, Ariel, Hunter, Brooklyn, Vaida, Merritt, Everett and Grey. She is also survived by many nieces & nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM at the Bethel Evangelical Presbyterian Church (19816 Moser Ave, Reading, MN 56165). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to the Bethesda Hospice in Willmar or the hospice of your choice.
