She was predeceased by: her husband Garrit Leo Slagter; and her brothers, Clarence, Doward, Harold, Raymond and David.
She is survived by: her children, Curt Slagter (JoAnne) of Willmar, Carol Bosch (Wesley) of Atwater, Gary Slagter (Debra) of Clara City and Lonny Slagter of Priam; and her siblings, William Visser (Margaret) of Lyndon, WA., Hilda Bohlsen (Virgil) of Willmar, Marjorie Groen of Willmar and Ruth Van Hove of Willmar. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; twenty-three great grandchildren and nine great great grandchildren.
