It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Samuelson of Willmar, Minnesota, born in Sacred Heart, Minnesota, who passed away on August 6, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Harold and Julia Theolina Samuelson (Jacobson); his wife Janet Halvorson; his siblings, Thomas and Dorothy Sutter; and his brothers-in-law, Red Sutter and Harvey Busack.
He is survived by: his children, Laurie Bruns (Darrell) of Renville, Scott (Karen) of Spicer, Jamie (Kim) of Sacred Heart, Rick (Mary) of Sacred Heart and Jennifer Samuelson (Kevin Bruns) of Belview; his sisters, Jean Busack and Anita Prairie (Duane); and his sister-in-law Sandra Samuelson. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
