She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Truman B Thorson and Caroline Thorson (Syverson); her husband Lloyd A Nelson; her children, Connie VanDerBill Medin (Stephen Medin) of Spicer, Cindy Johnston of Plymouth and Lloyd Nelson (Casey); her siblings, Cliff (Lyla), Dean (Betty), Lucille Ahern and Lois Ann Johnson; and her sons-in-law, Warren VanDerBill and Phillip W. Johnston. She was also cherished by seven grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
