He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Vossen and Valborg Vossen (Frieberg); his granddaughter Kendra Anne Kleven; his siblings, Arnie Vossen (Shirley), Jerry Vossen (Carole), Karen Carlson and Marilyn Vossen; his parents-in-law, LeRoy and Genevieve Richter; his siblings-in-law, Thomas, David Richter and Lydia Vossen; and his nephews, Paul and Ken Vossen.
He is survived by: his former wife Marlene Knudsen; his wife Kathleen Richter Palmer; his children, Julie Gregoire (Chad) of Cottonwood, Brian Vossen (Cheryl) of Colorado Springs, CO, Bradley Vossen of Watkins and Karna Kleven (Brandon) of Eden Valley; his grandchildren, Evan Gregoire, Breann Montgomery (Sam), Bailey, Bridgette Vossen, Addison, Isabella Vossen, Logan and Khloey Kleven; his siblings, Don Vossen of Plymouth, Shirley Cherry (Jerry) of Bayport, Gene Vossen of Des Moines, IA and Char Helmuth (Dave) of Atwater; and his siblings-in-law, Dick Carlson (Sherry) of Duluth, Larry Richter of Clearwater, Gene Richter (Karen) of St. Cloud, Steve Richter (Dina) of Hastings and Sachiko Richter of St. Cloud. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
