She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Koestler and Alice Koestler (Stewart); her husband Vincent Toutges; her children, Arthur, Donna and Norma; and her granddaughter Danielle.

She is survived by: her children, Robert Toutges (Sandi Larson) of Moorhead, Ronald Toutges (Patricia) of Clarksville, TN., Mary Wilson of Plymouth, Daniel Toutges (Vivian) of Willmar, Anna Toutges (Felice Tempo) of Hopkins, Corine Klaseus (Steve) of Chaska and Greg Toutges (Julie) of Mukwonago, WI.. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren, besides other relatives.

Eleanor's body was donated to the University of Minnesota Anatomy Bequest Program for medical education.
