She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Soiney and Tillie Soiney (Olson); her husband Ralph George Smith; her children, Jeffrey and Denise LaVigne; her grandchildren, Daniel Bierwerth and Angela Leuer; her brother Clayton Soiney; her son-in-law Norman Bierwerth; and her brother-in-law Clayton Rux.
She is survived by: her daughter Roxanne Bierwerth of Atwater; her son-in-law Dan LaVigne of New Brighton; and her sister Jean Rux of Anoka. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
