With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Doris O. Gjerdingen (Willmar, Minnesota), who passed away on January 21, 2020 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Knute Iverson and Dathilda Olson Iverson; her husband Harris; her siblings, Amy Hill, Ole, Ivel and Clifford Iverson; and her daughter-in-law Linda Gjerdingen.
She is survived by: her children, Donald Gjerdingen of Starbuck and Dawn Platt of Willmar; her grandchildren, Ross Gjerdingen (Heather), Jory Gjerdingen, Justin Platt (Alissa), Jennifer Lankenau (Jon) and Joshua Platt (Madison); her great grandchildren, Bailee, Morgan Gjerdingen, Odin Gjerdingen, Jaylyn, Jordyn Platt, Jackson and Jameson Lankenau; and her sisters, Adeline Suter of Willmar and Shirley Jacobson of Coon Rapids. She is also survived by several other relatives and friends.
She was a member of the Swift Falls Charity circle.
