It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donna Mae Hillenbrand of Willmar, Minnesota, born in Renville, Minnesota, who passed away on August 24, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Cornelius Groen and Fanny Groen (Ryks); her siblings, Bennie Groen and Connie; and her great grandchildren, Jeremy Hillenbrand Jr. and Carter Swierenga.
She is survived by: her spouse Luverne Hillenbrand; her children, Jim Hillenbrand (Debbie) of Spicer, Wayne Hillenbrand (Lonie) of Willmar, Kathy Halldin (Dan) of Willmar, Michael Hillenbrand (Barb) of Spicer, Sue Mustain (Barry) of Sartell and Dave Hillenbrand (Ingrid) of Willmar; her brothers, John Groen (Joan) of Lake Lillian, Harold Groen (Norma) of Renville, Jerry Groen (Lynn) of Spicer and Cornie Groen (Jo) of Renville; and her sister-in-law Sondra Groen of Clara City. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren and one great, great grandchild.
