It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Owen Skare (Willmar, Minnesota), who passed away on August 23, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilman Skare and Norma Skare; his son Bryan; his great grandchild Gabriel; and his sister Mary.
He is survived by: his godparents, Hans, Ester Johnson, Ole and Betsy Ellington; his wife Becky; his daughters, Dawn Armstrong (Jeff), Alycia Gilb (Scott), Tara Chvala (Troy) and Nicole Kalevik (Ben); and his sisters, Delores, Mona and Gloria. He is also survived by his many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Memorials are preferred to the Calvary Lutheran Church Cemetery Fund.
