He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Lalim and Mathilda Lalim (Kortgaard); his wife Idell; his siblings, Bert, Dora, Melvina, Myrtle and Bernice; his great grandchild Angel Rose Chandler; and his great great grandchild Emily Rose Shoutz.
He is survived by: his children, Ronald Lalim (Kathy) of St. Cloud, Harlan (Esther) of Montevideo, Richard Lalim (Susan) of Nowthen, LaVonne Gens (Darrell) of Renville, Sandra Lalim of Sartell and David Lalim (Jane) of Williston, ND.. He is also survived by twenty grandchildren; forty-seven great grandchildren and eight great great grandchildren.
