With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David F. Niemeyer of Willmar, Minnesota, born in Montevideo, Minnesota, who passed away on January 24, 2022 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Niemeyer and Adeline Niemeyer (Ziehl); his daughter Michelle Renteria; his son-in-law Thomas Renteria; and his brothers-in-law, Wayne Schwitters and Dennis Manley.
He is survived by: his wife Connie Niemeyer of Willmar; his children, Carmen Hanson (Keith) of St. Peter and Michael Niemeyer (Heidi) of St. Peter; his grandchildren, Jaydon, Jacob Renteria, Brady, Brock, Brogan Hanson, Ethan, Lauren, Gavin and Katelyn Niemeyer; his foster children, Anna Peterson (Hailey) and Tim Pohlman; and his siblings, Janice Schwitters of Willmar, Dale Niemeyer (Sharon) of Raymond, Larry Niemeyer (Jane) of Raymond, Deb Stomberg (Loren) of Sacred Heart and Dar Poppen (Brad) of Clara City. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.
