He was predeceased by: his parents, Dick F. Marcus and Berndina Marcus (Dykema); and his siblings-in-law, Fay Marcus, Sam Hamstra and Harold Post (Betty).
He is survived by: his daughter-in-law Jonikka; his wife Bev; his son Nick Marcus (Jonikka); his granddaughters, Eliana, Victoria and Malin of Willmar; his siblings, Ron Marcus of Phoenix, AZ, Wally Marcus (Rachel) of Tempe, AZ, Chuck Marcus (Cheryl) of Mokena, IL and Karen Capiz (Paul) of Minneapolis, MN; and his parents-in-law, Margaret Euwema, Bernice Boeringa and Neil Post (Carol).
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Carris Health Rice Hospice or Unity Christian Reformed Church.
