He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Gordon Ryks and Mae Ryks (Brouwer) of Willmar; his wife Pauline Hauschild; his children, Kristofer Ryks (Kris) of New London, Angela Edlund (Rod) of Alexandria and Justin Ryks (Katie) of Grove City; his stepchildren, Derek Moen (Jody) of Canby, Ashley Moen (Joe Petersen) of Lakeville and Cody Moen (Heather) of Ivanhoe; his son Kyle; and his father-in-law LeRoy Hauschild. He was also cherished by fifteen grandchildren.
