It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charlotte Ann Gorres of Willmar, Minnesota, who passed away on February 20, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Strate and Viola Strate (Lux); her husband Richard; her daughter Christine Ann Smith; and her brothers, Louis Strate and Chuck Strate.
She is survived by: her children, Cathy Dahl (Tom) of Kerkhoven, Bob Gorres of Cosmos, Paul Gorres of Willmar and Carol Tollefson (Eric) of Sunburg; her grandchildren, Brandin Dahl (Madelyn Shugart), Austin Dahl, Tyler Smith (Kayla Henderson), Jesse Smith (Michelle), Kailey Gorres (Brandon Larson), Mitch Tollefson (Becca) and Megan Fournier (Will); her great grandchildren, Autumn, Payton, Paislee Smith, Axel, Cash Smith and Noah Tollefson; and her brother Lynn Strate of Bemidji.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Church of St. Mary (713 12th St SW, Willmar, MN 56201). A Mass will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
