He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Barnes and Anna Barnes (Kolb); his son Jeffery; and his siblings, Francis, Fred, Mabel Randt and Anna Skinness.
He is survived by: his sons, James (Annette) of Darwin, MN and Jerold (Carrie) of Kandiyohi, MN.; his wife Ruby Ann (Burchill); and his daughters, Delora Walters (Ken) of Willmar, MN and Deloris Olson (Charles) of Farwell, MN. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
