She was predeceased by: her parents, Jorgen Ellingson and Gertrude "Gertie" Ellingson (Bertram); her husband Harold Winther; her sons, Les Winther and Gary Holey; her sons-in-law, Bob Steece and Richard Nordby; her sisters, Darlene Ellingson and Mildred "Millie" Rambo; her grandchildren, Bradley, Ryan, Cody and McKenna; and her great grandchild Seth.

She is survived by: her children, Bruce Winther (Ilene) of Battle Lake, Robert Winther (Robin) of Herman, Bradley Winther (Cindy) of Mission Viejo, CA, Lynn Holey (Carol) of Oshkosh, WI, Darlene Michel (William "Mick") of Jeffers, Paula Steece of Westbrook, Brenda Nordby of Windom, Martin Winther (Jody) of Belgrade and Tamara Swenson (Jon) of Willmar; her daughter-in-law Mary Winther of Skull Valley, AZ; and her brother Raymond Ellingson (Shirley) of Doran. She is also survived by 26 grandchildren; and 51 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren.

A memorial service was held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 at 11:30 AM and at 11:30 PM. A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Harvey Anderson & Johnson Funeral Home (1000 19th Ave SW, Willmar, MN 56201).
