She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Berg and Ethel Berg (Lundstrom); her former husbands, Earl E. Petersen of Raymond and Stanley K. Johnson of Maynard; her husband Albert Boersma of Prinsburg; her brother Eugene Berg; her stepdaughter Marlene DeGroot; and her sister-in-law Gervaise Berg.
She is survived by: her children, John Petersen (Jan), Virginia Murray (Kurt), Earleen Warner (Scott), Paul Johnson (Kristine) and Sharon Giles (Brad); her grandchildren, Timothy Petersen (Andra), Daniel Petersen (Michelle), Jonathan Petersen (Kiya), Katie Coates (Brandon), Kelsey Sherman (Josh), Amy Johnson, Jaina Johnson and Joseph Oliech; her great grandchildren, Benjamin Petersen, Kaylee Petersen, Isabelle Sherman, Zoey Sherman and Samuel Petersen; her stepchildren, Dorothy Boersma, Keith Boersma (Lois), Sharon Mulder (Phil), Lois Reichert (Gene) and Steve Boersma (Lynn); and her brother Ralph Berg.
