She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Berghuis and Mabel Berghuis (Hebrink); her husband John Asche; her daughter Karen; her son-in-law Gary Zylstra; her brother Donald Berghuis; and her siblings-in-law, Borgie Berghuis and Harold Ahrenholz.

She is survived by: her children, Larry Asche (Sandra) of Bloomington, Dalen Asche (Sharon) of Bloomington and Todd Asche (Lori) of Spicer; her siblings, Roger Berghuis (Arlyne) of Willmar, Dallas Berghuis (Sharon) of Clara City, Gordon Berghuis of Cosmos, Sylvia Visser (Doward) of Willmar and Edith Ahrenholz of Willmar; and her sister-in-law Arvilla Berghuis of Litchfield. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren and seven great great grandchildren.
