She was predeceased by: her parents, George Ruter and Minnie Ruter (Ritz); her former husband Merlin Thompson; and her siblings, Henry, Herbert, John Ruter, Fannie Mithaugen, Tillie Hauge and Ruth Hauge.
She is survived by: her husband Ed Jaenisch of Willmar; her sons, Mike Thompson (Susan) of Casper, WY, Albert Thompson (Nancy) of Beaver Dam, WI and Mark Thompson (Colleen) of Willmar; her grandchildren, Emily Sorenson (Kelly), Justin Thompson (Katie) and Gerrett Thompson; her sons, Kyle Thompson, Ryan Thompson, Bryce Thompson, Dana Thompson and Jena Berget (Cole); and her siblings, George Ruter (Julie) of Willmar, Gerald Ruter (Betty) of Willmar, Tina Harried of Sacred Heart, Louise Carlson (Curtney) of Pennock and Linda Kamstra (Clinton) of Willmar. She is also survived by six great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family are preferred.
