He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Gunderson and Esther Gunderson (Forcier); his grandson Caleb Ledeboer; and his siblings, Viola Schneider, Marie Van Heuveln, Evelyn Heveron, Margaret Beckman, Alyce Kotzenmacher, Leonard, Otis, William, John and Robert Gunderson.
He is survived by: his wife Mavis Evelyn Knutson; his children, Rebecca Bergeson (Richard) of Montevideo, Pauline Ledeboer of Willmar, Timothy Gunderson (Dawn) of Blaine and Paul Gunderson of Willmar; and his sister-in-law Jacqueline Gunderson of Coon Rapids. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
