He was predeceased by: his parents, George Bevins and Lois Bevins (Smith); his wife Peggy; his daughters, Jessica and Collette; his siblings, Avis Pederson, Gary Bevins Sr. and Samuel Watson; and his brother-in-law Francis "Butch" Bellanger.
He is survived by: his granddaughter Kailene; his children, Jamie Bevins Sr. (Danelle Keezer) of White Earth, Jennifer Pinneo of Wasilla, AK, Tiffany Bevins of Callaway, MN and April Bevins of Callaway, MN; his stepsons, Richard Hayes, Charlie Hayes, David Hayes and Norman Hayes; his sister Jeanine Bellanger of White Earth; his sister-in-law Dorothy Watson; his grandson Jamie "Honker" Bevins Jr.; and his nephews, Matthew Bevins and Ethan Berry. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
