He was predeceased by: his parents, Janis and Ilga. He is survived by: his wife Teri; his children, Amy Vander Veer (Brad) and Scott Cinis (Nikki); his grandsons, Ethan Vander Veer, Wesley and Eli Cinis; and his siblings, John (Bonnie), Kris Budkevics (Marty) and Ruta Karklins (Maris). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
