It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lu Desmond (White Bear Lake, Minnesota), born in Buckman, Minnesota, who passed away on February 16, 2025, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Thomas Desmond; her parents, Conrad and Catherine; and her siblings, Arthur, Jerry and Mary Ann Kapsner.
She is survived by: her sons, John Desmond (Jan Uzlik) and Jim Desmond (Vicki); her sister Donna Martin; and her grandson Zachary Desmond (Allie).
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Mary of the Lake Catholic Church (4741 Bald Eagle Ave, White Bear Lake, MN 55110). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the St. Mary of the Lake Cemetery (4741 Bald Eagle Ave, White Bear Lake, MN 55110). A reception will be held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the St. Mary of the Lake Catholic Church (4741 Bald Eagle Ave, White Bear Lake, MN 55110).
