He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Lowell Carlson and Midge Swam Carlson; and his sister-in-law Kathy Tunks. He is survived by: his brother Fred; his spouse Gustie; his children, Lisa Bonko (Dave) and Joel Carlson (Eva); his grandchildren, Nick, Jack, Sammie Bonko, Emma and Andrew Carlson; his niece Jodie Carlson Huron; his nephew Paul Carlson; and also Lisa.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Redeemer Lutheran Church (3770 Bellaire Ave, White Bear Lake, MN 55110). A memorial service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
