He was predeceased by: his parents, Irene Kerfeld (Klasen) and Norbert Kerfeld. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Kerfeld (Higgins); his children, Allison Wells (Andrew), Lindsay Berger (Michael), Mitchell Kerfeld (Talisha) and Michael Kerfeld (Zoe); his grandchildren, Mitchell, Tyler, Charlotte, William, Lucas, Alli, Sloane, Mara, Lindsay, Birdie (Michael) and Henry; and his siblings, Brenda McJunkin (Larry), Anna Lillyblad (Paul), Allan Kerfeld (Jackie), Cheryl Kerfeld (Tom Spors) and Mark Kerfeld (Karen Olson).
During the throes of the pandemic, Keith and Elizabeth drove hours to each of their children's homes around Minnesota to drop off Easter surprises.
