He was predeceased by: his sons, Jeff and Brian. He is survived by: his wife Cheryl; his daughter Julie Herrity-Weidenborner (Bennet); and his sibling Mary Vierow (Paul). He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren.
