In loving memory of James Louis Pfutzenreuter of White Bear Lake, Minnesota, who departed this world on January 23, 2025 at the age of 93. He was predeceased by: his parents, Aleksander L. Pfutzenreuter (Alex) and Elin Marie Pfutzenreuter (Thorgrimsen); his wife Carol Mace (Harris); his daughter Kate Smith; and his sister Laura Frank.
He is survived by: his daughter Laura Kate Schmidt (Tom); his grandchildren, Jeff (Becky), Sarah (Anthony Roland) and Alex (Erin); his child Mace Alex Pfutzenreuter (Eve); his grandchildren, Claire, Rachel and Reid; his son-in-law Bruce Smith (Kate); his granddaughters-in-law, Maggie (Sam Johnson) and Savannah; and his sister Dorajean Hansen. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews.
Growing up in St. Paul, across the street from Murray High School and the Minnesota State Fairgrounds, Jim attended the fair every year of his life except during the polio and COVID-19 years.
