He is survived by: his wife Ruthellyn Arend; his children, Jody Schwartz, Julie Martinson (Alan) and Jeff (Karen); his grandchildren, Kristopher (Jessica), Keri, Brian, Jess, Curtis and Annie; and his great grandchildren, Kalei and Kelsi.

In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the family.
