He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ethel Firkus and George Firkus; his siblings, Sharon, Cindi, Steve, Randy and Ken; his cousin Perry; his grandfathers, Jack, Max, Perry, Kirk, Bill, Nick Kreeger, Nick Firkus, Dave Czech, Dan Foote, Bob and Denny; his son Bill; and his grandchildren, Nora, Rosie, Frank and Lucy.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Grace Church (1310 County Rd E, New Brighton, MN 55112). A memorial service was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Salvation Army in memory of George and Ethel Firkus and/or Bear Boating (https://bearboating.org) (bearboating.org).
