She was predeceased by: her parents, Vito Valenty and Margaret Valenty (Lydon); her stepfather Harold Blum; her father-in-law Joseph Sr. (Bud); and her siblings, Mary and Richard Valenty (Dick).

She is survived by: her husband Joe; her siblings, Carole Fritsche (Arnie), Joan Valenty, Ann Clark (Mike) and John Valenty (Cindy); her sister-in-law Rena Valenty; and her nieces and nephews, Jake, Justin (Nikki), Brian (Holly), Danny (Morgan), Jessica, Christa (Mike), Brittay (Adam) and Erika (Ricky). She is also survived by 12 grand-nephews and nieces.

Visitation was held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Mary of the Lake Church (4741 Bald Eagle Ave, White Bear Lake, MN 55110). A reception was held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 from 12:15 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location.
