He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Kassahn and Martha Kassahn (Rogahn); his stepmother Esther; his brother Norman; his sister-in-law Melody; and his stepson Jim.
He is survived by: his wife Delores Yanneyon; his children, Jean Meyer (Phil) of Hankinson, ND, Vern Kassahn (Della) of St. Cloud, MN, Glen Kassahn of Fergus Falls, MN and Cheryl Herding (Jerry) of Wahpeton, ND; his grandchildren, Jessica Meyer (Cheryl), Justin Meyer (Amber), Krystal, Krystafer Kassahn, Alyssa, Angie, Jenna, Tyler Kassahn, Adam, Amanda and Emily Campbell; his great grandchildren, Samantha, William, Brantley, Karley, Tabitha, Meeka, Erica and Madison; his close friend Delores Jordan; and his stepchildren, Ken Faulkner (Toni) of Anthony, NM, Allen Faulkner (Luella) of Murdo, SD, Suzy Kai (TJ) of San Antonio, TX, Patsy Boatman (Paul) of Grand Forks, ND, Mike Faulkner (Mary) of Rothsay, MN, Annette O'Keefe of St. Paul, MN and Randy Faulkner (Ruth) of Breckenridge, MN. He is also survived by numerous step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.
