She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Rutter and Ada Crawford of Nyack; her husband Robert Herder; her daughter Holly Herder; and her sisters, Beverly Lovett and Dorothy Neary.

She is survived by: her daughter Lisa Herder Dargie; her granddaughters, Ann Gladd (Travis) and Elisabeth Dargie; and her great grandchild Emma Grace Dargie.
