He is survived by: his grandchildren, Zachary Carlson, Justin Wennerberg, Adam Sorensen, Nolan Wennerberg, Colby Carlson, Grant Wennerberg, Joseph Tweten, Jayce Tweten, Ashley Halvorson, Josie Klohn, Shelby Tweten, Danae Wennerberg, Kelsey Pederson and Holly Hanson; his wife Esther Schmidt; his sisters, Pauline Johnson, Shirley Arneson, Carol Ekberg and Marily Haack; and his children, Keith Sorensen (Sandy), Jody Carlson (Ron), Julie Wennnerberg (Daniel) and Karrey Tweten. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
