She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Bendickson and Mary Bendickson (Solin); her husband Dean Ostby of Rosholt; her siblings, Marlin Bendickson (Peg), DuWayne Bendickson (Marlene) and Joanne Wollan; her parents-in-law, Pete and Fanny Ostby; and her sisters, Beulah Braaten (Willard), Betty Pearson (Lloyd), Bonnie Ekstrom (Darrell) and Faye Akerson (Louie).
She is survived by: her children, Tim Ostby (Marie) of Spicer, Minnesota and Tami Ostby of Wheaton; her granddaughter Emma Ostby (Andy Olson) of Richfield, Minnesota; and her pet Peter. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other friends.
Memorials are preferred to the Wheaton Community Diner or Good Shepherd Lutheran Church.
