He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles L. Carlson and Mildred R. Carlson (Shiek); his son Roger Jacobs; his significant other Markie; and his son-in-law Roger Jacobs.
He is survived by: his children, Patrick Carlson (Jenny) and Debra; his grandsons, Shane (Nefize), Justin (Becky), Cory (Annie) and Brett (Kristin); his daughter Tammy Henman (Larry); his grandchildren, Meghan (Scott), Laine (Kayla) and Halley (Jason); his son Russ Carlson (Rick Henderson); his grandsons, Alex and Andrew (Susan); his daughter Stephanie Cornelius (Jim); and his grandchildren, Alicia, Jordan (Haley), Gena and Corbin. He is also survived by twenty great-grandchildren.
