She is survived by: her husband Alex Valdez; her sons, John Thomas and Rhett Thomas; and her siblings, Frances Arellano (Blas), Ginger Price (Chuck), Tom Jacobs and Jerry Jacobs (Kris). She is also survived by eight grandchildren; several great grandchildren.
