We are sad to announce that on September 26, 2024, at the age of 91, LaMae Ruth Horkey of Westbrook, Minnesota passed away. She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Olson and Ida Olson (Hofstad); her husband Bud; her children, Rick and Lisa; and her brothers, Dean Olson and Milton Olson.
She is survived by: her children, Diane Schmitz (Philip) of Fredonia and Scott Horkey (Jody) of Windom; her grandchildren, Tim Morphew, Jeff Morphew, Shawna Horkey and Jessica Marsh; and her sisters-in-law, Millie Horkey, Marian Nelson, Mary Horkey and MiTzu Olson. She is also survived by ten great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 3rd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First United Methodist Church (402 11th Street, Heron Lake, MN 56132). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 3rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
