He was predeceased by: his grandson Dustin Curtis Carter; and his sisters, Lorayne Caauwe, Barbara Hartwick, Marjorie Smith, Iris Knudson, June Cook, Berniece Olson, Joye Heckert and Dawn Schmidt.
He is survived by: his wife Geraldine Ione Lien; his children, Bill, Billy Carter (Kathleen), Timmy Carter (Judy) and Kristi Sell (Steven); his grandchildren, Amber Montey (Joe), Brook Pressley (Mike), Courtney Abernathy (Nathan), Brandon Carter (Cheri), William Sell (Carrie), Jacob Sell (Lindsey) and Krystle Warnke (Adam); and his great grandchildren, Tucker Montey, Malita Pressley, Baya Abernathy, Curtis Carter, Brockton, Baylor Sell, Nolan and Landon Warnke. He is also survived by his extended family three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
