He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Anton Cassens (Tony) and Marjorie Cassens (Howland); his wife Carole Jean Bremer; his sons, Bruce Cassens (Diane) of Gilbert, AZ, Brian Cassens (Kerry) of Grimes, IA and Brent Cassens of Westbrook; his grandchildren, Bryan Cassens (Kris), Whitney Anderson (Jordan), Stacy Cassens and Cory Cassens (Chanin); his siblings, Robert Cassens of Bloomington, Luetta Braun of Rock Rapids, IA and Lois Teerink (Howard) of Fulda; his sister-in-law Sandy Cassens of Bloomington; his granddaughter Amy Cassens; and his siblings, Marlo, Wayne Cassens and Lorraine Lawrence. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
