He was predeceased by: his parents, Lillian Ball and Walter Ball; and his sister Janice Telstad. He is survived by: his wife Karen Ball; his children, Dan Ball (Amy) and Jerry Ball (Trish); and his grandchildren, Nolan, Nick, Holly, Trevor and Casey Ball.

His contributions to West Saint Paul include coaching youth sports and running a men's fast-pitch tournament for over 50 years.
