He was predeceased by: his parents, John Hessler and Louise Hessler (Dahm); and his siblings, Wayne, Kenneth, Roger, Marcella "Marcie" Zeuli and Marlene Peterson.
He is survived by: his wife Carole; his children, Sandy Newton (Robbie), Charlotte Flipp (Robert), Charlene Hessler-Marley and Brandon Hessler; and his siblings, Richard Hessler (Cindy), Caroline Schwartz (Terry) and Karon Mishler (Johnny). He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.
