Sherrie Le wrote a sympathy message

“Mary and Gene were instrumental in creating the West St. Paul Beyond the Yellow Ribbon organization. They were also part of the merging with three neighboring cities creating the Northern Dakota County BTYR. I had the honor of serving with them on the Executive Committee for the last few years. They were wonderful people and very dedicated to serving Veterans and National Guard service members and their families. They rarely missed an event and frequently volunteered. I will miss them both.”
